This group covers the athletic clubs, gyms, recreation and community centers, sports complexes, parks and golf clubs that keep tennis courts alongside their main business. City recreation centers and YMCAs offer the lowest prices, with day passes and resident discounts, and their courts are usually open to anyone. Athletic and health clubs bundle courts with a gym, pool and group fitness for a monthly membership. Parks departments run the public courts, permits, lights and lesson programs in most towns, and their office is the place to report a broken net or a locked gate. Golf clubs often keep a few courts for members and their guests.

Fort Myers is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fort Myers follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Need benches in shaded areas and shade over play area, Fl is to hot to be espoused to the sun on in play areas. Kids need shade as well to cool off.

Took the kids to this park as our first option Centennial the parking lot was closed due to a boat show. Anyhow it has a very nice playground area and the murals along the sidewalk are beautiful. The large trees are nice and it seemed well maintained. The only problem was the amount of homeless people present. They were initially outside the fenced area which I thought was ok. But then they approached me and asked for money and food. I donβt mind but hang out elsewhere. I no longer felt safe after a man approached me and two other men joined him at the bench inside the childrenβs park. My daughter was playing on the playground but we decided to leave. This was in the afternoon around 2pm. Wouldnβt recommend visiting unless itβs early morning or early afternoon.

Had fun playing pickle ball. The facility was very tidy. People were friendly and kids were having fun playing basketball. Nets were provided for our game. We just brought the party and the paddles.

Quite a lovely little park. 2 small parking areas, plenty of seating. Swings, and play areas for children. A quiet oasis, right next to Lee Memorial Hospital. Very well maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
